Diehl was a retired office manager for Hunleth Music Co. in St. Louis for many years. She was a member of St. George Episcopal Church, Belleville, Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary and a volunteer at Belleville Senior Citizens Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. Diehl, whom she married Dec. 5, 1926, and who died July 28, 1967; her parents, Louis and Dora, nee Kuhnert, Stapp; and nine sisters and brothers. Surviving are two nieces, Area M. Reissen of Belleville, and Cathryn (John) McCord of Las Cruces, N.M.; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and very special friends, Tom and Marilyn Boschert and family of Mascoutah, Ill.

Willis, 18, of 1426 N. Park Drive, East St. Louis, was charged with obstructing service of process by giving a false name to an officer after a traffic stop at 7:25 p.m. Friday. Young also was charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe and needle adapted for using drugs.

Miguel Barrera, 34, of 1153 Jones Cahokia, was charged with disorderly conduct at 1 p.m. Friday. According to the sheriff's report, Barrera smelled strongly of alcohol and could not speak coherently in the St. Clair County Building. Belinda C.

Coats, 27, of 29 Violet Drive near Cahokia reported that at 10:10 p.m. Friday, someone broke the driver's side front and passenger's side front window on her 1986 Pontiac 6000 automobile while it was parked at her home. Coats said a white male broke the windows, then fled down the street. Mid-America Taxi driver Dave E. Pritc, 44, reported that, after driving a passenger at 1:50 p.m.

Saturday to a home at 2340 Centreville Ave. near Belleville, the passenger paid him $7 instead of the $15 owed. Then the white man in his late 20s went into the home. A sheriff's deputy tried to contact the passenger at the home without success. The passenger, whose name was not available, was charged with theft of service.

James R. Boeving, 45, of 1706 Witte Road near O'Fallon reported that his home was burglarized at 11:30 a.m. Friday. A garage walk-in door had been opened, tripping the burglar alarm. Wires were pulled from the alarm but it wasn't disabled.

A Magic Chef microwave oven valued at $150 and a Kodak 35mm autofocus camera valued at $50 were taken. A neighbor said she had seen a full-size white pickup truck parked for a few minutes at the end of Boeving's driveway, but she couldn't identify any suspects. Jerrod A. Gladney, 19, of 6628 Future Ave. near Centreville was charged with obstructing service of process for a giving false name to an officer after a traffic stop at 11:08 p.m.

Friday. Michael Scruggs, 55, of 6701 St. Clair Ave. near East St. Louis reported the theft of a $600 Stihl saw, $190 Craftsman saw, a $380 grinder, a $290 saw and $1,000 in various tools from his truck at 10:12 a.m.

Goodwin, 60, of 6501 Roachtown Road near Millstadt reported that someone damaged his mailbox and wooden post by hitting it with a blunt Bottlenecks Bottlenecks The following is a list of large-scale construction projects the metro-east that might result in detours or traffic tieups. The front passenger tire on the van was flat and her purse was missing. A sheriff's report indicated no forced entry was found to the vehicle, which was locked. Israelitt reported the burglary of $75 brown leather purse, a $35 wallet, $5 bill, Visa and Sears credit cards, a $150 Missouri Nursing School 1952 gold school ring and a $400 gold wedding band. She reported no suspects. Kana Marie Wibbenmeyer, 17, of 8643 Eulalie Brentwood, reported the burglary of a 1986 Toyota Camry automobile while it was parked in a driveway at 2200 Old Farm Lane near Millstadt between 9:30 p.m.

Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday. Wibbenmeyer reported the burglary of an Ameritech transportable cellular phone, its value unknown. Lucy A. Roberson, 45, of 23 Carrel Court near Cahokia reported someone stole $40 from a medicine cabinet in her home between 8:45 and 9:20 p.m.

Saturday. According to a sheriff's report, there were 11 other people in Roberson's home at the time of the theft. Ocie Walton, 29, of 1111 Cottage Lane, East St. Louis was charged Saturday with obstructing justice for giving a false name while being booked into the St. Clair County Jail.

COLLINSVILLE POLICE Orlando Woolfolk, 34, of 1230 Klein, Venice, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Police reported finding drug paraphernalia with crack cocaine residue on him on a bluff near Interstate 70 on Thursday morning. Kevin Lance Dilliard, 41, of 38 Fairlane, Collinsville, reported Thursday morning that sometime Tuesday or Wednesday, someone bent over a tennis net post in Glidden Park. Herbert Leslie Koonce, 53, of 316 McAfee, Collinsville, a custodian at the Collinsville Public Library, reported Thursday morning that someone had broken into a car parked outside and stuck a knife in the ignition wires while apparently trying to steal it.
