Vada Conner Vada Conner, 82, 1911 8th died at 7:08 p.m. Saturday at the Bedford Medical Center. He was born Dec. 20, 1905, in Lawrence County, to Frank and Anna Stillions Conner.

He married Dorothy Lucille Marsh Jan. 30, 1932, and she died April 28, 1988. He was a retired 40-year employee of Ingalls Stone Company and was a member of Millworkers Local Union. He also was a member of the First Nazarene Church of Bedford. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs.

J. C. (Deloris) Dugger, Bedford and Mrs. Joe R. (Mona) Dobkins, Bedford; three sons, Jack Conner, R.

2, Springville, and Darrell and Jerry Conner, both of Bedford; 14 grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; three sisters, Frances Mack, Heltonville, Zada Lagle, Bedford, and Gladys Kinser, R. 14, Bedford. He was prececed in death by two sisters, Alice and Dorothy, and a brother, Elmer. Funeral services will be 2 pm. Tuesday at the Day Carter Mortuary, the Rev.

He was born in Orange County Dec. 8, 1920, to Ira and Nora King Buchanan. He attended Little Church. He retired from Cornwell Company and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.

Survivors include two sons, Billy Buchanan and Delbert Buchanan, both of Paoli; three daughters, Mrs. Lisha Allen, Marengo, and Mrs. Charlene Pate, Bloomington; and Mrs. Dana Meredith, Paoli; sister, Mrs. Dorothy "Wolfe, Paoli; 16 grandchildren three greatgrandchildren.

One son, Bobby, is deceased. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dillman-Ellis Funeral Home, the Rev. Nolan Stroud officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Oscar Gootee REELSVILLE Oscar Martin Gootee, 76, Reelsville, father of Carl Gootee, Bedford, died Friday at Putnam County Hosptial in Greencastle. He was born July 29, 1911, in Daviess County, to son of Mose and Emma Dant Gootee. He worked in maintenance and retired in 1975 as bus driver at St. Monicas Catholic Church in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Catholic Church in Brazil.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Flanner and Buchanan Zionsville Mortuary with burial in Calvary Cemetery at Indianapolis. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 to 9 p.m. today.
